Y’know, there is not much more annoying than having a sneezy annoying sniffle, than having someone (and usualy a young lady) accuse you of having ‘Man Flu’.
Here’s the conversation:
Her: you sound ill, you ok?
Me: Not ill. Just an annoying sniffle.
Her: Aw… you got Man Flu?
Me: Were you bloody listening? I said I have an annoying sniffle, I’m not ill, and far far from dying.
I don’t do Man Flu. I don’t really do ill. I don’t do days off. What? Sit at home and be faced with daytime TV, when there’s so much more misery to be spread at work? Why?
And for those fellas who do get a bit of a cold and think they’re dying, for god’s sake, man it up! Stop whining like little girls.
