need money. to fight ninjas (by Ridiculously Awesome Illustrations) Last time I was in NYC I gave some cash to a couple of homeless guys, if only because their sales pitch was excellent. One guy was quietly handing out stickers to sell for $1, black background, large white font ‘MEAN PEOPLE SUCK’.  The other man, an older black man, approached me outside the Apple store in SoHo: “Hey brother, can you spare a dollar for the United Negro Pastrami Sandwich Fund?”. A line like that was worth $5. Well earned. Well, it amused me, and I’m a tough audience…
